Founded by singer/songwriter Keith Jenkins in 2004, the Moving Parts are a group of well traveled music veterans. After spending several years in bands trying to get out of the midwest each band member has now embraced Columbus, Ohio as home and the music is about this very concept. The band mixes straight ahead rock, with a little bit of Petty-esque jangle, topped off with some tasty hooks.

Polarity is key; and diversity is inevitable, drawing influences from artists like Robert Plant, Andrew Bird, The Temptations, the Beatles, his father and his Grandfather.
